In 1971 at the age of 19, Casey made history by becoming the youngest AAU Mr. America in the history of the competition. Also, taking home the trophy and Most Muscular award for the 3rd time. He trained under the guidance of Arthur Jones for ten months prior to the Mr. America contest at DeLand High School in DeLand, Florida. A pioneer of High Intensity Training.
